Aiman Mussakhajayeva — Vienna Classic Strings - International Violin, Viola and Cello Competition and Festival

Aiman Mussakhajayeva was born in 1958.

In 1965 -1976 she studied at Baysseitova Republican Music School.

In 1976 entered Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, in 1978 was transferred to Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory to the class of Professor Valeriy Klimov, People's Artist of the Russian Federation.  In 1983 after graduating from the conservatory she enrolled in graduate school, in 1986 she successfully graduated from it.

Achievements

Aiman Mussakhajaeva - an outstanding violinist, People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, "Kazakhstan Yenbek Eri", the rector of the Kazakh National University of Arts, a prominent public figure, member of the jury of many international competitions and festivals.

She graduated from Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (Professor Valeriy Klimov's class). Also she is a laureate and prizewinner in: International Competition in Belgrade (Yugoslavia, 1976), Paganini International Competition in Genoa (Italy, 1981), Tokyo International Competition (Japan, 1983), Sibelius International Competition in Helsinki (Finland, 1985), VIII Tchaikovsky International Competition in Moscow (Russia, 1986).

Aiman Mussakhajayeva - hold the Honorary title of UNESCO "Artist for Peace" (1998); Academician of the International Academy of Art (1998), winner of Award of the Valmont City (Italy)  "For high artistic quality and social mission in the world for peace", the Vatican Award, Santa Cecilia Silver Cup for contribution to the development and strengthening cultural ties between two countries, the  winner of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of literature, art, architecture (2000), the winner of independent award of patrons of Kazakhstan "Platinum Tarlan" (2002).

In 2002 the name of Aiman Mussakhajayeva was entered in the list of World Honorary IВС "2000 Outstanding Musicians of the 20th century". For outstanding achievements in the field of musical art, A. Mussakhajayeva was awarded the State Prize of Peace and Progress of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Member of the Laureates Association of Tchaikovsky International Competition.

The name of Aiman Mussakhajayeva has been entered in the Encyclopedic Dictionary of the University of Cambridge "Outstanding musicians of the 20th century" (2002), the International Biographical Centre of Cambridge awarded the honorary title "International Musician of 2003". She was awarded the medal "Astana" (1998), "10th Anniversary of Kazakhstan Constitution" (2005),  "10th Anniversary of Astana "(2008). "20 years of independence of the Republic of  Kazakhstan" (2011).  A. Mussakhajayeva was awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of Astana city" (2007) and the badge "Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (2003, 2008). In 2010 Aiman Mussakhajayeva awarded the Order of Friendship for contribution to the development of Russian-Kazakh cooperation in the field of culture and education. Also in 2011awarded medal «For  Merit to the culture of the Republic of Poland - Gloria Artis."

In the repertoire of Aiman Mussakhajayeva, there is the music of different eras, styles, and genres. The actress performs in the best concert halls in Europe, Asia, USA, cooperates with well-known musicians, including Paul Gililov, Mikhail Kogan, Vladimir Spivakov, etc. Has a CD recording with the leading chamber and symphony orchestras in the world - Winner Symphonic Orchestra, Royal Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra of Russia, the European Youth Symphony Orchestra and other ensembles under the baton of  Vladimir Ashkenazy, Pavel Kogan, Vladimir Spivakov, Saulius Sondetsiksa, Mikhail Pletnev, and many others. Her talent was applauded in the best concert halls of the world: Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Centre (New York), Musikverein (Wien) Gaveau, Cortot (Paris), Santa Cecilia (Roma), Queen Elizabeth Hall, Wigmore Hall, Barbican Hall (London), Konzert Haus (Berlin).

Aiman Mussakhajayeva as a member of the jury with well-known musicians participated in Tchaikovsky International Violin Competition  (Moscow, 1993); Demidov Competition (Yekaterinburg, 1995); Yampolsky International Violin Competition in Dubna (Russia, 1996); Schubert, Brahms, Michelangelo Abbado International Violin Competition in Milan (Italy). Professor A. Mussakhajayeva holds international master classes abroad.

Annually "Ensemble of soloists" holds the tour to the cities of Italy under the leadership of Aiman Mussakhajayeva.  Also the memorandum which was signed by our Rector allows our students of Kazakh National University of Arts to train in the leading educational institutions in Italy: Conservatorio di Musica “S. Cecilia”, Madcast S.r.l,  Universita di Lingue e Comunicazione (IULM), Brera Academy of Fine Arts, Accademia Teatro Allo Scala, The Foundation Teatro dell'Opera of Rome, Conservatorio Statale Di Musica E.R. Duni, Conservatorio di Musica “G.Verdi”,  Istituto Musicale di Padova, Arena di Verona, etc. 

In 2014 Aiman Mussakhajayeva awarded the title of "Kazakhstan Yenbek Eri" for outstanding achievements in social and human development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an active social life, a special contribution to the development of culture.
